FIREFIGHTING

Our sensors can be used to monitor team members of a workforce that must perform its tasks in severe climates. New or temporary employees working in harsh conditions especially require monitoring during an initial acclimatization period. Those wearing bulky uniforms or carrying heavy equipment are at an increased risk of a heat-related illness. Tracking the temperatures of team members can help to boost productivity, as well as ensuring the safety of the individuals.

RESEARCH & MEDICINE

The effects that intemperate climates can have on the human body are understood in large part due to advances in medical technology and research. Our products play a significant role in researching heat illness/hypothermia in addition to monitoring the core temperatures of patients in a hospital/clinical setting.

ANIMAL

The CorTemp system is equally effective and accurate when monitoring select, appropriately sized animals, as it is when used with human beings. Once ingested, the sensor transmits a harmless, low frequency signal throughout the body. As it passes through the subject’s digestive tract, the sensor will take precise temperature readings at an interval set by the user.
