Standard Product Warranty HQ, Inc. will, at no charge, repair or replace, at its option, defective product or component parts of the CorTemp® Wireless Temperature and its accessories within 90 days of your receipt of the product. This warranty does not apply to physical damage resulting from misuse, accident, or disassembly of the unit. Repair or replacement does not extend or replace the original warranty.
Extended Service Warranty An extended one-year service warranty is available for the CorTemp data recorder, which covers the cost to repair and replace all defective parts, and also includes labor and annual calibration. Repair Services All equipment is repaired at our manufacturing facility located in Palmetto, Florida. Prior to returning the item(s) for repair, an RMA number must be obtained from HQ, Inc. Customer Service at 941-721-7588. See RMA section of this web page for return procedures.
Return Material Authorizations (RMA) Prior to the return of any HQ Inc. item, the customer must contact HQ, Inc. customer service at 941-721-7588 or fill out our Contact Us form. The RMA number should be referenced both on the outside of the carton and on all correspondence sent with the shipment. A brief description of the problem should be included with the return. The shipment should be sent back ONLY via prepaid freight to: HQ, Inc. Attn: Repair Dept. 210 9th Street Drive West Palmetto, FL 34221
The HQ Inc. repair department will assess the repairs and the customer will be notified by email or phone call of any repair charges prior to the completion of the repair, unless the item is under warranty. The repaired unit(s) will be returned back to you prepaid within two-three weeks of receipt. Invoices will be submitted to your company for repair of any item out of warranty.
Annual Calibration We highly recommend that your CorTemp data recorder be calibrated on an annual basis. The unit contains a delicate quartz crystal oscillator and as the unit ages, its accuracy and performance tends to drift and may cause the recorder to yield inaccurate temperature readings. Product Upgrades & Enhancements As our technology changes and advances, HQ Inc. offers upgrades to your existing CorTemp data recorder or companion equipment, which can improve your product’s performance or add a new feature. Some units will be able to support these changes and some will not be compatible.
